Who I Am
I’m an artist focused on painting, working both on large-scale oil on canvas pieces that take time and smaller playful acrylic works created more spontaneously.
My Work
Oil Paintings
I create large-scale oil paintings that take time - from the first spark of an idea in my mind to the final brushstroke. Every piece has a meaning, a story or a little tale woven into its composition. I put my heart into each of these works, allowing my fascination, and sometimes obsession - to guide the process. Many of these pieces feature a woman guided by her inner light - an independent spirit navigating her own world - rich in detail and emotional depth.
Acrylic Paintings
My acrylic pieces are usually smaller and work directly on board. These come from a place of spontaneity and play - quick, quirky, and fun. When I paint these, I let my inner quirkiness out of its chains! These pieces embrace the imperfect and the unexpected, capturing ideas as quickly as they arrive and joyfully celebrating individuality.
The difference in time, intention, and process is also reflected in the price range between these two bodies of work.
About Me
I was born and raised in Kraków, Poland, in a family with no artists. Art was simply something that found me. I studied International Trade, but I never worked in that field. Instead, after moving to the UK with my husband in my late 20s to start a family, art slowly became my world.
Around the age of 40, I made a decision: I was going to become a professional artist. With no formal art education, limited technical training, and plenty of critics telling me otherwise, I set out to prove that passion and perseverance matter more than timing. Starting later in life hasn’t slowed me down. It’s driven me.
